SBDC Brings Classes to Hispanic Entrepreneurs

PORTLAND – PCC’s Small Business Development Center will be offering its business lecture series targeting Hispanic-owned businesses. The event is co-sponsored by the Metropolitan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Administration (SBA) and º£ÌÄÖ±²¥’s SBDC.

The topics include E-commerce on Jan. 27, Human Resources on Feb. 24, and Total Quality Management on April 27. All sessions are held º£ÌÄÖ±²¥’s Central Portland Workforce Training Center, 1626 S.E. Water Ave., (near OMSI) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $80 for the series or $30 per session with lunch included in the seminar cost.

Mario Pedraza, a small business counselor for PCC, said the series was offered last year for the first time. "It is affordable, informative and a great way to network with other Latino entrepreneurs," he said.
