Sylvania Campus hosts Filipino workshops

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – The º£ÌÄÖ±²¥ Filipino American Student Association has received a $1,000 PCC Diversity Grant to conduct a Tagalog Language and Culture Workshop for students and the community. PCC staff will teach Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines.The two workshops will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Feb. 23 and March 1 in the Oak Room of the CC Building of the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Admission is free and there will be refreshments served.To register for the workshops call 503-977-4112, or email tagalogworkshop@aol.com.
