PCC knitting class turns patterns into finished projects

PORTLAND, Ore. – Knitting isn’t just for grandma anymore! Join the new generation of knitters by expanding your current skills. Learn how to read and adjust those somewhat cryptic knitting patterns while making a unique project of your own. º£ÌÄÖ±²¥’s non-credit class will keep your skills as sharp as your needles. Learning to Read and Adjust Knitting Patterns will teach you how to read and work a pattern according to the instructions. Instructor Martina Niebur will discuss how to adjust the pattern to your size or yarn choice. Students are asked to bring a pattern, materials and any tools needed to complete projects. The four-week class will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays, April 9 through April 30, in the Grand Hall, room 141 º£ÌÄÖ±²¥’s Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $39.For more information, contact the PCC Community Education at 503-788-6265.
