Gillis shows off socially relevant artwork at Cascade

Donāt miss artist Brian Gillisā exhibit, āā¦on Wednesday,ā at the Cascade Campus Art Gallery. Gillis asks a lot of questions both of his audience and himself. Gillisās work has been called, āsocially relevant, audience activated and engaged.ā His installations showcase stories that, āelicit metaphors and social exchanges in an effort to arouse awareness, introspection and valuation.ā
The show will end Thursday, Jan. 7, which will wrap up with a closing reception from 5 to 8 p.m. in the art gallery (Room 102, Terrell Hall). The art gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
