Congratulations to Cascade student Laura Carpenter, who testified yesterday before the Oregon House Veterans Affairs Committee yesterday.
Laura, who served in both Afghanistan and Iraq, talked about the importance of two- and four-year schools rewarding military training with college credits. It would be an understatement to say she 鈥渨owed鈥 the elected officials on the committee.
