Registered Apprenticeship
Registered apprenticeship programs are governed in Oregon by independent bodies called Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees (JATCs). Although PCC does not run apprenticeship programs, they do partner with several JATCs to administer industrial apprenticeship programs and hold the required courses. These types of apprenticeship programs are employer-sponsored and require applicants to be employed by a participating employer that is registered to train apprentices – or an employer that would like to become registered to train apprentices. PCC is not currently able to place students in employment for apprenticeship purposes.
