Details about this class
ECE 124 is a dynamic course that requires introspection and analysis of other's experiences. Students will engage in readings, discussions, and assignments that develop awareness of how their personal experiences, belief systems, and identities impact work with children, families, and communities.
Coursework will require students to interact with one another via whole and small group discussions.
This online course requires students to complete work independently on D2L Brightspace. There are no class meetings. Students are expected to complete the weekly work by the deadlines noted in the course shell.
Attendance is required each week and is measured by the completion of online discussions and reflective journals.
Technology
Students will need regular access to a computer to complete required coursework, as well as access to Google Docs or Microsoft Word.

No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
