There will be time each week to discuss this topic with a PEER before presenting to the class. There is no mid-term and the final will be the term paper. I will take attendance each week and students receive credit for their attendance. To be successful in this course, attendance will be necessary. If you are not able to attend each week, you may want to take an fully online course.

Technology
CJA299K - Intro to Criminal Justice Ethics. This is a In-Person Remote Course, Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.
What is a remote course? It is not a fully online course. A remote course is instructed via Zoom and has a specific day and time the class is instructed. This will require that you have access to a internet enabled device that will support the latest version of Zoom. You will also be required to be on camera and be able to communicate (microphone) during the instructional period. This is necessary because students have previously joined the Zoom session, with camera off and walked away.
Remote courses will also require that you plan to attend at the same day and time each week. Please consider this requirement prior to registering for this course.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
Students with disabilities
Students with disabilities should notify their instructor if accommodations are needed to take this class. For information about technologies that help people with disabilities taking Online based classes please visit the Disability Services website.
