Technology

1) Students must have access to a personal computer and a C++ compiler. GitHub codespaces is a good browser coding environment for your assignments. To prepare for CS 162 there are four labs on our PCC Linux server in the second half of the term. Previous Linux or command line experience is not expected or required. Please read  in the PCC Linux and Vim manual.

2)This course uses an online textbook from zyBooks.com - there is no hardcopy textbook.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
