8th week homework (May 26 and 27, 2026)

±·´Ç³Ù±ð:ÌýÌýPlease try to finish the homework before the next class.  You don’t need to send it to me because we usually talk about the answers in class.  Also, when you finish the homework & prepare for class, it helps me decide if you will be ready for the expectations of Level 4 or not.

Homework from class Wednesday, May 27, 2026:

1.   <– Click here for the handout from class.  S to study the list of regular and irregular past tense verbs. Study suggestion:  Practice with a friend or family member. I will try to give you a list every week.  You will have a quiz on these verbs on Monday, June 1, 2026.

2.  Workbook page 41, Exercises F & G.  Complete the exercises in your notebook. We’ll check the answers in class tomorrow, Thursday, May 28, 2026.

3.    <– Click here for a page with many links to online exercises that use (not) as… as …..  Try a few of them.  You don’t need to do all.  You don’t need to copy anything (unless you want to). We don’t have CALL this week, so I’m including this in your homework.

3.  Preview Student Book Unit 8, pages 115 to 121.  Look at the blue grammar boxes.  Look at the different kinds of activities there are.

5.  Student Book page 118, Exercise A.  Read the information in the blue boxes and try Exercise A.  Please copy the sentences into your notebook. We’ll check the answers in class Monday, June 1, 2026.
