PCC supports the use of public transit by providing students with information about TriMet services and offering staff the option to purchase TriMet passes through pre-tax payroll deduction.

If you qualify, you can save up to 72% on fares (including a $28 monthly pass) with a personalized Honored Citizen Hop card. Eligibility includes people who participate in programs like OHP, SNAP, or TANF, or who meet household income requirements.

TriMet Faculty and Staff Passes (Pre-Tax)
All PCC faculty and staff (including casual employees) can purchase a monthly TriMet pass on a pre-tax basis.
To sign up or cancel:
- Log in to Workday
- Select Benefits and Pay from the left-hand menu
- Select Change Benefits
- Select Start/Stop Parking/Bus Pass
- Follow the onscreen instructions
Timing: Submit your request in Workday before the 15th of each month to become effective the following month.
Note: Keep your pass/card secure. Replacement policies and fees may apply through TriMet/Hop.

Hop works across TriMet, C-TRAN, and Portland Streetcar. Some C-TRAN services (such as Express routes) may require a different fare.
- From downtown Vancouver: Take Route 60 to North Portland and connect to the MAX Yellow Line. Or, take Route 105 directly to downtown Portland (weekdays only)
- From Fisher’s Landing Transit Center/east Vancouver: Take Route 65 to Northeast Portland connect to the MAX Red Line. Or, take Route 164 directly to downtown Portland (weekdays only)

Ride Connection provides community shuttles in rural Washington County, Forest Grove, Tualatin, King City, and North Hillsboro.
